OUR STORY
BLUE CARBON is a social and ocean tech startup established by three (3) brothers who share a deep appreciation and love for the ocean, marine life, and coastal habitats. Their passion for the ocean and blue carbon ecosystems started at an early age with summers spent fishing and exploring the saltwater marshes in South Carolina. Their passion was further influenced by their grandfather, a retired marine biology professor and their father, a serial high tech entrepreneur. Presently all in their college years, the brothers decided to leverage their educational and experiential backgrounds in biology, innovation, and entrepreneurship with their love of the oceans to start BLUE CARBON and “pay it forward” by helping preserve the oceans and marine life for future generations.

Matt is a serial high-tech entrepreneur in quantum science and deep tech. Matt graduated from the Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College (Boston) in 1998.

Carson Price-Gallagher
CO-FOUNDER & PARTNER
Carson is pursuing a Smith School of Business Diploma at Queens University (Kingston, Canada). Carson received his BSc in Life Sciences (Honours) from Queens University in May 2023.

Aidan is a 3rd year student at Babson College (Boston) pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with concentrations in strategy and entrepreneurship.

Wyatt is a 1st year student at Dawson College (Montreal, Canada) with concentrations in business, innovation, entrepreneurship, and design thinking.

Stephen is a tropical marine ecosystem field scientist consultant. Stephen earned his PhD in Environmental Science & Policy from the University of California (Davis).
